It's funny because when the boys were at school I used to look forward to the half terms and holidays but now it's much nicer going out when all the others are back at school. Well despite the cold I made 3 sets of beads yesterday..... Well my computer did die but luckily it has been brought back to life. It needed a new power supply which cost £40 fitted, which I thought was very reasonable. Although I can't blame that on my lack of new beads. I've been in that 'can't be ard mood' for the last few days. I've had beads sitting there ready to be photographed, I've had my mandrels dipped and ready for action since last Saturday, but it was not to be. To be fair, I've felt it coming on - that sinking feeling in the morning, the thought of cleaning my teeth and getting dressed seems like too much effort. Although from previous times I've learned that making myself feel guilty for not doing anything doesn't help so I've just gone with it this time. So what if I don't wash the breakfast things up till 4 o'clock, so what if I haven't been dressed all day. I know there are several of you who know that feeling too. But, fingers crossed, I think it's passing. I made the Spring Posy set yesterday and now I just want to make some more - beads are such good therapy! Something else I meant to tell you - it's our little claim to fame. Hubbys cousin has landed herself a role in Eastenders. She's in 9 episodes - her first one was early this week. I don't watch it myself so I couldn't tell you much about it - I just know that she plays a journalist and it's something to do with Mintys(?!) wedding. Well done Lisa. That is as long as my computer hasn't died. It's been playing up again and it wouldn't switch on at all this morning for while. I know it's time to get a new one but I really don't want the hassle of setting everything up again. Onto the beads for today. I've got a largish set in pink, amethyst and white. I was so enjoying this pretty colour scheme that I found it hard to stop. There is also a set of fritties in plum and pink which I forgot to mention in the item description that they are etched.
